Miracles do happen, modern day miracles. I went in for a scan last week to get an update on the tumors in my lungs, liver and pelvic bone.
The tumor in the liver has been growing since 1991. Last year it was half the size of my liver. Lately I have been having pain in my chest so I was a bit worried that the tumors had grown. I am on a treatment out of England but that’s really it. So there is no real reason why these tumors would stop growing. This cancer is very aggressive, so aggressive that once diagnosed life expectancy is only two years. I have lived with this cancer now over 21 years. But last week was another example of God’s power and ultimate control in my life. After my scan I went to the doctor’s waiting room and waited for the report. About an hour later he came in with another doctor and had a surprised look on his face. He looked at me and simply just said that the tumors in my lungs, liver and pelvic bone were all smaller. Praise the Lord, a modern day miracle. Thank you all for your prayers.

Patrick... I just had some of your new peppermint pretzels and Man, were they a winner!!! I also cannot stop eating your chocolate covered toffee. I can't remember their official name, but they are top shelf all the way. You are doing such a great job!!
I also hear that you had great speech at SMU for the Freshman football players. My prayers are with you. You are such breath of fresh air.
May God's blessing be heaped upon you and may you always have enough.
